A 6 year old entered a contest with her eassy about her dad dying in Iraq in the war. She won with the essay and the prize was tickets to the "Best of Both Worlds" concert. The problem is her dad didn't die, he's still alive.
Her mother was quoted as saying:
"We wrote whatever we could to win," she said. "It said to write an essay. It never said it had to be true. I never said it was true. ... It was just an essay. We wrote whatever we could to win."
Great example you're setting for your daughter mom.
Now the award has been taken away from the girl.
