ummmm like...im not wat u would call a big miley fan.. but as far as the picture goes... for someone like her who has her type of fans (more twards the younger crowds like ages 5 to 11)
this picture isnt wat u would really want like maybe ur younger sister lookin at. i mean i dont nesessarily think its "revealing"... but its kinda giving a negative message to all the little girls out there that its "ok" to be poseing like that. but im still not saying that she should put her blond wig on and stick a micraphone in her mouth and belt out "the best of both wrolds"... cus wether we like it or not shes 15 years old. and wat shes saying about the pic being artistic... i mean its possible.. if u look at it shes really not showing anything but her bac, there are regular girls that show more by just wearing a bakini. Im not sure if people are really upset about the picture... or seeing that the disney star that was once a little girl who was squeaky clean is now actually becoming a t.e.e.n.a.g.e g.i.r.l! but theres really no telling if she'll end up like the stars we used to kno and love such as britney spears and lindsy lohan... but wat im trying to say is that the picture is not as reavealing as people are playing it up to be... but its just a little to inapropriate for wat her career is all about.

i completely agree with you jules1194. finally! someone who gets it! i mean im 16 and these photos arent that big of a deal to me, people are blowing this wayyy outta proportion. that vanessa ann hudgnes chick bared it all in her nude picture that was all over the internet and she didnt get as much criticism as miley's getting over this, just because her back is showing. get over it and grow up people, seriously.

ok they made a very good point i agree wuth jules1194 i dont think this is something i would want my younger sister/cousin cuz i dont have a sister looking at BUT! it's vanity fair how many little kids or even like young teenagers do you know that read vanity fair? if they wouldnt have put it all over the news little kids parents wouldnt be saying to there kids oh look miley's on the news and the kids wouldnt see the picture! im 11 and i wouldnt have known about the picture if it werent 4 youtube and the scandal about it

I don't thinkthe pictures are revealing, and I think the photographer manipulated her. Miley probably though that the pictures were going to be artistic, because some pictures llike this one can be. But the photographer made her hair and makeup and overall look in such matter that it looks wrong. I'm sure the photographer was just trying to sell magazines. The reason it'ssuch a big deal is becaude the overall look of the picture and it comes out just after the internet pictures she took of herself, that she even admitted were innapropiate.
